Civil Air Patrol Partners with PLANELOGIX to Revolutionize Fleet Management
PLANELOGIX, the trusted name in FAA-compliant digital aircraft maintenance records and logbook management, is proud to announce a groundbreaking partnership with the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) that will transform how CAP manages aircraft maintenance records, tracks airworthiness, and keeps their fleet mission-ready.
Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, maintains a fleet of 545 aircraft (making it the largest piston fleet in the world!), which fly 100,000-plus hours annually while conducting missions as part of its core programs of Emergency Services, Cadet Programs, and Aerospace Education. Many of these missions are assigned by the Air Force, involving search and rescue, disaster relief, and support of military training.
This partnership will convert all of the fleet's paper records into digital records, making everything searchable through a combination of OCR and hand typing of the maintenance records. We will enable CAP to track maintenance, ADs, SBs, and predict out ahead to avoid unexpected down time and improve parts ordering. This will provide a leap in operational efficiency and awareness that is unprecedented, largely because no other provider goes into the details and weeds like we do.
Speaking of details, everyone at PLANELOGIX has been blown away by the professionalism and attention to detail that CAP brings to the effort. We are particularly excited about this partnership because we both prioritize doing the job right over fast, which makes the painstaking and detailed work we do all that more rewarding.
